Rosco 119, and Rosco 52 used in conjunction to pull actors away from the set sorounding them and into the world outside. Creating a new reality that is as real as the one inside the set.

"Carl" was done as a competition one-act play for the NDHSAA in 2009. Because the show travels to at least one other stage and possibly up to 3 different stages, we needed lighting that allowed for quick set up. We don't know what kind of lighting would be available at other venues because each venue uses a basic wash; therefore, we kept the colors to a neutral warm/cool.

In this production of Cabaret at DePaul University, I used a blend of cool and warm colors to convey a specific environment.

I used R20 in the window blinds-Perfect for a deep late afternoon sunset in the first picture. the 2nd picture has R3208 top light to create the interior of a shady motel room, as well as R3202 in the template for that perfect "blue hour" feel.
